The publication of professional contact details in a public source does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive advertising. Technaid will send professional communications only where there is a valid legal basis and applicable law permits us to do so.

6. Marketing communications and the right to object

Every electronic marketing communication from Technaid will provide a simple way to stop receiving further messages. You may use the unsubscribe link in the message or contact info@technaid.com.

9. Zoho and data location

Technaid uses Zoho services, including Zoho CRM, as a technology provider and data processor to manage commercial and professional relationships.

Technaid’s organisation is hosted in Zoho’s European region and uses the `zoho.eu` domain. According to Zoho’s published information, accounts assigned to the European Union data centre store their service data in that region and are not shared with data centres in other regions. Zoho identifies Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Dublin, Ireland, as its European data-centre locations.

Technaid will review the contractual terms, security measures and subprocessor information applicable to the services it uses. If a provider needs to transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area, Technaid will require a valid transfer mechanism and the safeguards provided by applicable law, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, and will provide information where required.

10. Retention periods

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet applicable legal requirements:

– Contract, order, billing and support data will be retained throughout the relationship and afterwards for the periods required by tax, commercial and liability laws.
– Enquiries and requests will be retained for as long as needed to respond and carry out reasonable follow-up, after which they will be deleted or restricted where appropriate.
– Data used for professional relationships or B2B prospecting will be reviewed periodically and deleted when it is no longer relevant, the purpose has ended, an objection has been made or there is no valid basis for retaining it.
– Data processed on the basis of consent will be retained until consent is withdrawn, without prejudice to statutory periods and the retention of evidence of consent or its withdrawal.
– Minimum data on suppression lists may be retained for as long as needed to respect permanently a request not to receive communications.

At the end of the applicable period, data will be deleted, anonymised or restricted in accordance with applicable law.
