Almost two months have gone by since the celebration of SSNR2024 and we still walk from time to time (mentally) through the corridors of the Parador de Baiona. Today we want to bring you some photos of our own and of the organizers to share with you this “return” that still shakes us intermittently.

For those who are not aware, the Summer School on Neuro Rehabilitation brings together every year the leading experts in the field of neurorehabilitation, shaping up an unparalleled opportunity to delve into the latest trends and advances in research in this area that covers specialties such as rehabilitation robotics, neuroscience, wearable devices, human-machine interfaces, etc..

This year we are also very proud to have carried out, during our workshop, what is probably the first tele-operation of a lower-limbs exoskeleton (more than 600 kilometers away) made in Spain. Probably the first in Europe. In addition, the response from the attendees was very positive, which fills us with pride and motivates us to continue working on the development of innovative solutions to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.

Finally, and as the best experience of the conference, we would like to highlight meeting and dealing with attendees who were so committed to the spirit of the SSNR. We came back with the satisfaction of both the reencounter with old friends and the many new ones we met.

In short, we returned home with new ideas, a wider network of contacts and the certainty that we are working in a sector with a promising future.

Many thanks to the organizers and participants. We hope to see you again next year  (* ̄▽ ̄*)ブ
