Technaid at Global Robot Expo 2022

This week we had the opportunity to participate again in this year’s edition of Global robot Expo 2022, the biggest event for robotics companies in Spain. We had the chance to meet again with colleagues from other companies and institutions within the sector that we had not seen since before the pandemic.

We were also able to meet with workers and students from several companies, associations and universities such as Carlos III of Madrid, or the University of Alcalá with whom we shared details of the handling of our Exo-H3 as the different levels of control that can be accessed or the potential integrations with third party equipment. The inclusion of the exoskeleton in a ROS network was also a very commented and discussed topic with our visitors.

The main reason for our attendance was to accompany our colleagues from the Neuro Rehabilitation group of CSIC in the public communication of the Eurobench Project. In this project, Technaid had a double participation, first as a supplier of the base exoskeleton to test those groups that did not have this hardware available and, on the other hand, as a participant in the second phase (Validating the Framework) of the project with the “Assist Control H3” sub-project, together with UniValle.

This project also involved Los Madroños Hospital, the Italian Institute of Technology, the University of Heidelberg, the Roessingh Research and Development center, TECNALIA Research & Innovation, Össur, IUVO, PAL Robotics, Altran and innCome I+D+i and has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program through grant agreement No. 779963.

See you in future events. Best regards!!
