This week has given the starting signal to the public promotion of the AI4HealthyAging Project which has been active for a few months.
Technaid participates in this project that aims to create an Artificial Intelligence solution on which medical professionals can rely to obtain an early diagnosis of highly prevalent diseases such as stroke, heart failure, sarcopenia, Parkinson’s disease and even hearing loss.
The results will enable quick intervention in neurological, motor and degenerative diseases. They will also have applications in the future treatment of these pathologies in the elderly population. This will result in an improvement in the quality of life of patients, as well as in the efficiency of treatments.
In this project we will collaborate with Capgemini Spain, ITAINNOVA – Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón, Instituto Cajal CSIC (CSIC), Instituto Aragonés de Ciencias de la Salud (IACS) , Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Aragón – IIS Aragón, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya CIT UPC, UPC BarcelonaTech Technology Center, Universitat de València, Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS), Spanish Red Cross, Fundación Andaluza para la Investigación y Gestión del Conocimiento en Otorrinolaringología (FAIGESCO), Bitbrain, Podoactiva, Inntegra and Starlab.
The project is funded under the R&D Missions in Artificial Intelligence 2021 program of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and is part of the Digital Spain 2025 agenda and the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy. It will be funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU funds and has a budget of 12.5 million euros.
We are delighted to participate in this type of project so promising and so involved in improving people’s life.
We keep on working.
