It has been only a few days since we returned from the Summer School on Neurorehabilitation 2025 (SSNR 2025), held at the Parador de Baiona. From 8 to 13 June we enjoyed six days filled with neuroscience, exoskeleton technology, neurorehabilitation and a great atmosphere in an unrivalled setting, with the Atlantic as our backdrop. As in previous years, we participated as sponsors and co-organisers of this reference event for research in neuroscience, and throughout the week our team staffed a stand where attendees could try out our motion-analysis and robotic-rehabilitation solutions first-hand. During the poster sessions we invited everyone who stopped by to explore the latest advances of the Exo-H3 exoskeleton and the Tech-IMU sensor family—examples of how state-of-the-art exoskeletons are transforming clinical practice. The reception could not have been better.

Top level training (exoskeleton, neurorehabilitation,…)

The scientific programme was once again the school’s greatest asset: keynote lectures by Oskar Aszmann, Dario Farina and Antonio Bicchi, together with presentations by Sunil Agrawal, Emilia Ambrosini and Vincent C. K. Cheung, sparked fascinating debates on human–machine interfaces, neurophysiology and robotic control. These sessions highlighted cutting-edge research trends at the intersection of neuroscience, robotics and neurorehabilitation that will guide our future developments. The social agenda also shone brightly—from Monday’s football tournament to Wednesday’s visit to the Cíes Islands—where we recharged our batteries and strengthened ties with researchers from all over the world in a unique natural environment.

Thank you and… see you in 2026!

We return to Madrid with valuable feedback from doctoral students and clinicians who tested our demos, with new collaborations that will soon turn into joint research projects, and with the satisfaction of seeing this community grow while keeping its close and multidisciplinary spirit alive. We cannot close this recap without thanking the organisers for their impeccable work and all the participants for their enthusiasm. We come back energised and convinced that the synergies born in Baiona will bear fruit very soon. If you missed any of our presentations or want to see more photos, we encourage you to visit our social networks and follow the hashtag #SSNR2025. See you at the next edition!
